   Parking: Eastern Michigan University enforces parking regulations Monday through Friday, 7am to 10pm.  A detailed map is available at http://www.emich.edu/parking/visitorparking.php.  Please take note of the following guidelines:

           Friday Parking:  EMU recommends using the parking deck near the Oakwood Center, shown on the map inside the meet packet.  Parking in the deck is a flat rate of $5.00 for the day, with unlimited in-and-out privileges (keep your ticket).  The EMU website also notes that visitors, without a parking hang tag, may park in any of the metered areas or any gated paid parking areas including Alexander, Bowen, McKenny, Pease, or the Student Center Paid Lots by paying the posted fee.

CARS PARKED IN LOTS OTHER THAN THOSE DESIGNATED AS “PAID” PARKING WILL BE TICKETED ON FRIDAY.

Saturday and Sunday Parking:  Parking regulations are not enforced on Saturday or Sunday, so you may park in any lot in a designated parking spot at no cost (including areas with parking meters).  All laws and regulations pertaining to handicapped parking apply at all times.

                  Friday Preliminaries:

                  6:30 a.m.                     Credentials Table opens

                  7:00 a.m.                     Grandstand opens for spectator seating

                  7:00 a.m.                     Pool Deck Opens to Athletes and Coaches

7:00 – 7:20 a.m.                      Coaches Meeting in the Hospitality Room (on the 2^nd floor)

7:30 – 8:50 a.m.                      Warm-up

7:35 a.m.                     Scratch Box Closes for Friday Prelims

Friday’s 400 Medley Relay must be Checked In (by Coaches Only) to be seeded.

9:00 a.m.                     Events Start                 

10:00 a.m.                   Relays Declared - 400 Medley Relay

Swimmers in the 1000 Free on Friday must check in and confirm their intention to compete in order to be seeded.

Age Group:  A swimmer’s age on Friday, March 15, 2013 will determine his/her eligibility for a particular age group for the entire meet.  You must swim your own age group.
